ITINERARY
Ranthambore – “Explore the wild heart of Rajasthan, where tigers roam amid ancient forts.”
Bharatpur – “Discover the birdwatcher’s paradise at Keoladeo National Park with over 350 species.”
Chambal – “Sail through the pristine Chambal river to spot gharials, turtles, and rare birds.”
Corbett – “Experience India’s oldest national park, famed for majestic tigers and rich wildlife.”
Dhikala – “Stay deep inside Corbett’s core zone for the most unforgettable jungle adventure.”
Day 1 | Arrival
New Delhi
Meeting at the airport and transfer to Ranthambhore by surface.
This would be approximately a 4-5 hour drive.
Upon arrival, check in at the hotel.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2-3 | Ranthambore
AM: Game drive in the park by exclusive jeep (private jeep)
PM: Game drive in the park by exclusive jeep (private jeep)
Day 4 | Ranthambore
AM: Game drive in the park by exclusive jeep (private jeep).
PM: Birding at Soorwal Lake, Soorwal Lake is about 11 Km from your hotel.
Excursion shall be using a jeep.
Soorwal Lake is good for looking for Flamingos. Pelicans, Ducks, waders,
Chestnut-bellied Sand Grouse, Ashy-crowned Sparrow-Lark and Wheatears.
Day 5 | Ranthambore / Bharatpur
AM: Birding outside the park.
This morning, birding on side of the park in areas close to the hotel, Nahargarh Fort.
The site is good for looking for painted sand grouses, larks, and pipits.
Post lunch, transfer to Bharatpur (4 hours’ drive).
Check in at the hotel.
Day 6-7-8-9 | Bharatpur
AM: Visit Keoladeo National Park by rickshaw and walk.
PM: Visit Keoladeo National Park by rickshaw and walk.
Day 10 | Bharatpur to Chambal
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Chambal (approx 2-3 hrs. drive).
Check in at the CHAMBAL SAFARI LODGE.
PM: After lunch, a Boat ride on the Chambal River.
Day 11 | Chambal / Noida
AM: Boat ride on Chambal River, later birding around the lodge.
Transfer to Noida (5 Hrs ‘ drive).
Stay overnight at a hotel in Noida to break the journey to Corbett Park.
Day 12 | Noida / Corbett / Hotel The Den (Kumeria)
Morning after breakfast, Transfer to Corbett National Park by surface.
On the way, birding at various places, especially after the town of Ramnagar.
Check in at the hotel.
Rest of the day birding at nearby river KOSI to look for crested Kingfisher, White capped
Water redstart, Brown Dipper.
Day 13 | Corbett National Park ( The den )
Early morning birding at the garden of the hotel, The Den, good for Sunbirds, Leaf birds,
White crested laughing thrushes, greater yellow nap, and many more.
Later, after breakfast, walk down to the river KOSI for birding.
On the way to river KOSI, look for Tawny Fish Owl.
Day 14 | The Den / Dhikala
This morning, transfer to Dhikala ( 29 Km inside Corbett park ) to stay for two nights.
Drive to Dhikala; check in at the DHIKALA REST HOUSE.
DHIKALA: is 29 km inside Corbett Park, Dhikala has grassland, woodland and and Ram Ganga river.
Besides Tiger sighting, Dhikala is excellent for looking for Raptors like Pallas’ Fish eagle,
Grey-headed fish eagle, Lesser Fish eagle, Himalayan Griffon, Cinereous vulture.
Lots of wood peckers, Barbets, Black francolin and many more
PM: Game drive in Dhikala area by an exclusive jeep (private jeep).
Day 15 | Dhikala
Both days have morning and afternoon game drives in different areas of Dhikala, like in grassland,
Before the Ramganga river and after the Ramganga river.
Day 16 | Dhikala / Hotel Tiger Camp
AM: Game drive in the park by exclusive jeep (private jeep).
Later, transfer back to Corbett outside the park.
Check in at the Hotel Tiger Camp or similar.
Post lunch game drive by Exclusive Jeep in Bijrani / Dhela / Jhirna Area.
Day 17 | Corbett / Hotel Tiger Camp
Morning after breakfast, birding around the Garjia Temple to look for IBIS BILL
And birding around the Kosi Barrage (DAM) to look for the Wall Creeper.
PM: Game drive by Exclusive Jeep in Bijrani / Dhela / Jhirna Area.
Day 18 | Corbett / Hotel Tiger Camp
Morning and afternoon birding in the buffer area of Corbett Park.
Morning birding around Fork trail creak to look for long-billed thrush and other species.
Afternoon birding at the river Kosi, the back site of the hotel Tiger Camp, look for Fork-tailed and Flycatchers.
Day 19 | Corbett / Delhi
Morning after breakfast, transfer to Delhi ( 6-7 Hrs ‘ drive ).
Check in at the hotel.
Day 20 | Delhi / Your Flight Ownwards
Very early morning at 5 AM, drive to Sultanpur (a one-and-a-half-hour drive ).
You can only spend one and a half hours at Sultanpur to come back to the Airport for your flight.
